Set up your AI workspace
Prepare your computer and tools for building websites and other technical projects.
Original course title & technical overview
Set Up Your AI Workstation. Give Claude and ChatGPT real hands: a terminal, your files, your browser and the apps on your screen. Then deploy a first page to Cloudflare, so every build-and-deploy track starts from a working machine.

2026 EDITIONWhat you will practise
Prepare your computer and tools for building websites and other technical projects.
Detailed deliverables
Nothing yet. F3 makes your computer the workbench every advanced track assumes: an AI that can open a terminal, read and write your project folder, drive your browser, and deploy to Cloudflare.
Tools (free plans have limits): Claude desktop app or ChatGPT desktop (Codex), Node.js 20+, Desktop Commander (free, open source), Git and GitHub account, Cloudflare account (free) with Wrangler
You will make
- A working AI workstation: Desktop Commander connected to Claude (and ChatGPT if you use it), with a test file created and a command run from chat
- Computer use enabled with app permissions set, tested on one real desktop task
- Two connectors wired in (Google Drive or Gmail, and GitHub) and verified
- A GitHub repository and a Cloudflare account with Wrangler logged in
- A one-page site built by the AI, deployed to a workers.dev URL, with a custom-domain checklist

Honest expectations. An AI with terminal access can delete files and run commands. The lessons set the permissions so the first mistake is recoverable: a project folder it may touch, approvals on anything destructive, and a Git commit before every big change. Do the safety lesson; do not skip it.
