2026 EDITIONWhat you can offer
Turn an episode into useful notes, an article, graphics, and ideas for short clips. This course is in development.
Detailed deliverables
A per-episode repurposing pack: show notes with timestamps and links, a 900–1,200-word blog post, five quote graphics in the show’s template, three short-form clip scripts with timecodes, hooks and captions, one email, and a posting schedule, from the transcript, within 48 hours of the episode.
Tools (free plans have limits): Transcript source: YouTube captions, Riverside, Descript or Otter, Claude or ChatGPT, Canva for quote graphics (T7 system), CapCut (free) for clips if you offer editing, The show’s blog and email tool (Squarespace, Kit, etc.), A per-show Google Sheet: episodes, moments, posting schedule
You will make
- A clean transcript with speaker labels and a moment map (the 10–15 best moments with timestamps and why)
- Show notes with timestamps, guest links, resources and the sponsor placement
- A blog post built from the episode’s one argument, not a summary
- Five verbatim quote graphics in the show template and three clip scripts with timecodes, hooks and captions
- An email in the host’s voice and a one-week posting schedule, delivered as a pack

Final practice project: An episode pack for The Second Act
A practice assignment from The Second Act with Lena Park (Weekly interview podcast (45–60 min) about career changes after 40, plus a YouTube channel). You will see the scoring guide (rubric) before you start.
| What we check | What earns the full 4 points |
|---|---|
| Brief followed | All assets present for episode 112; sponsor placed per the sheet; Lena’s offers used; delivered as one folder |
| Accuracy | Every quote verbatim with a timestamp; guest name and title correct; links marked for verification; no invented facts |
| Judgment | Moments chosen across all six types; the argument identified correctly; clips have real hooks; blog argues rather than summarizes |
| Voice and format | Notes, blog and email sound like Lena; no hustle talk; quote graphics consistent in one template; captions follow platform rules |
| Operations | Schedule follows the stagger rules; file names follow the pattern; delivery message says what needs the host’s eyes |
Honest expectations. The value is in finding the right moments and quoting them accurately. AI summaries flatten an hour into mush, invent quotes and miss the funniest ten seconds. This track makes you read the transcript with a moment map before any generation, and keeps every quote verbatim with a timestamp so the host can check it in five seconds.
