What you can offer

Create invitations, schedules, and website content for events and weddings. This course is in development.

Detailed deliverables

A matching content suite for a wedding or event: a fact sheet, invitation and details card copy (print-ready in Canva), a wedding website with the story, schedule, travel, registry and RSVP form, a guest itinerary PDF, a hashtag, and day-of pieces (welcome sign, menu, program, place cards), all in one style.

Example service prices
$50 for an invitation suite (invite, details card, RSVP card copy and design), $150 for the suite plus website and itinerary, $300 for the full set with day-of signage, a timeline for vendors and a guest-questions FAQ. Planners pay a per-event rate for repeat work.
Planning estimate, not a promise
Finding clients takes time. There is no guaranteed timeline or income.

Tools (free plans have limits): Canva (invitation, website and sign templates; print export with bleed), A wedding website builder (Zola, The Knot, Joy; free) or Canva Websites, Claude or ChatGPT, Google Sheets for the fact sheet and guest list fields, A print partner (local or online) for proofs

You will make

  • A signed fact sheet: names, dates, times, venues with addresses, dress code, RSVP deadline, registry, travel, contacts
  • A style decision (palette, type pair, motif) and the invitation suite copy and design
  • A wedding website with story, schedule, travel, registry, FAQ and RSVP
  • A guest itinerary PDF and a hashtag with three alternates
  • Day-of pieces and a proofing checklist, with a vendor timeline for the premium tier

What we checkWhat earns the full 4 points
Brief followedAll events and policies from the brand sheet; do-not list respected (no “forever”); all deliverables present
AccuracyEvery date, weekday, time, venue, address and name identical across all pieces; facts pasted, not retyped; proof results recorded
Voice and etiquetteWording in the couple’s tone, hosts and names handled correctly, dress code phrased for guests, FAQ answers real questions kindly
DesignOne style sheet applied to every piece, print margins and bleed correct, signs readable at distance, website matches the suite
DeliveryPrint-ready PDFs with specs, website admin noted, itinerary in two formats, delivered ahead of print deadlines
Honest expectations. A wrong time on an invitation is unfixable once it is mailed. This track runs every piece from one fact sheet the couple signs, proofs everything in print before the full run, and keeps AI away from facts: it drafts the warm words, never the when and where. Hashtag and taglines are fun; the fact sheet is the job.
